Great American Companies has implemented the use of Green Office Equipment for printing, faxing and copying purposes. These machines have lowered the amount of toner used in each document printed as well as provided us the luxury of using recycled toner cartridges to eliminate waste and plastics going to landfills.

Great American Companies has a goal to reduce paper usage over the next 18 months by 50% by utilizing duplex printing where possible, scanning documents for electronic delivery, and capabilities to retrieve electronic copies without the need to reprint.

Our goal is to further our reduction in paper reliance by scanning in all signed documents post closing for delivery to buyer and seller rather than paper copy. The scanning and storage of signed closing packages will also eliminate any need for paper copy to be sent inter office, and the need for storage of paper copy will also be eliminated by going to an electronic filing system.
